Customer notifications

For some reason, when my customers generate a ticket, it does not email them confirmation with ticket number. Is this normal? If not, can someone assist with how to set that up correctly?

Sorry .. pretty new to OTRS, but love it .. Just trying to work out the kinks.

you need to assign an auto response to the Queue
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
