I'm very new to OTRS and attempting to come up to speed. Question on Customer Companies:
If I'm an IT service provider, I provide service to a company. The company has users (customers). The SLA is tied to the company. How do you tie customers to companies in OTRS?
Companies doesn't appear to have anything to do with anything else, but I may be missing something.
thanks in advance

Re: Use of the Customer Companies
Hi!
Customer Company=CustomerID.
Each customer of the one company shall have the same CustomerID.
Then in Admin Area you must fill section - Customer Company - CustomerID + Company Name

Re: Use of the Customer Companies
I would be nice if the company (CustomerID) was a picklist when adding/editing a customer. That would help tie it all together.
