Hi,

I'm just getting started with OTRS and am impressed with the functionality it offers. There is one area which I haven't been able to figure out and I haven't seen anything about it in the manual. I don't see a way to set it up for the typical Company->Division->Department hierarchy and then link customers to these.

Does anyone have any insight or suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.

Hi!
At first see the manual!
You can create some additional fields in Customer table and fill them as you want manually from admin interface. How to do this you can read in manual.
If you use LDAP - there some ways to do this from there - also manual.

Thanks for the reply. Not the answer I was hoping for, but it was what I was expecting based on what is in the manual and my testing. I was hoping I had missed something.

I'm going to have one of my developers take a look at it and see if we can add this functionality. If it looks good and works well I'll submit it for addition to the source. Thanks again. (Your English is very good. :) )

Hi!
I do not like additional develop. This requires additional maintenance and increases the total cost of ownership and I always try to use standard functionality as far as possible. If no way then... :)
