hi,

I am a newbie in OTRS and I need an urgent help please!

Here is my problem:

- First of all, I have a web based customer portal that includes fields for submitting a ticket request. When the customer clicks the "submit" button the system should send an email to the OTRS system with all customer details and OTRS should create automatically a ticket. I need a solution for this, I have look around but in vain.
- Once the ticket's been created, the agent and the customer should be able to communicate by exchanging emails. All contents of the emails should be added automatically to the ticket.

Hi,

please don't post any questions in the HowTo forum.

The first step is dependend on your programming language of the web form an not a OTRS question.

Second question, yes you can communicate via email out of OTRS, please read the OTRS admin manual (doc.otrs.org) for more information
