you might use the idea to develop functionality

probably it's a good idea installiing the system monitoring plugin
then you'll see it's working more or less like a (postmaster) filter with some extra functionallity like getting the host / service from the incoming mail and using this values to link the CI
If you're a perl programmer, it's not too hard to explore and get the idea
