OTRS ITSM Virtual Appliance

Is there a current VMware virtual appliance for OTRS ITSM? I would like to evaluate it/run it on a small network, but do not want the initial hastle of installing it. I have basic linux experience, and can follow guides if detailed enough.

If there is, a point in the right direction would be great. I have found and tried the "Turnkey linux" VM, however this is version 2, not 3. Is the upgrade to V3/install of ITSM easy to complete?

No.

In my opinion, part of getting to know this software is the installation. Also, in my opinion, unless you're going for a hosted install, the difference between downloading a virtual environment and installing a package should be inconsequential.

Thanks Jojo, the On Demand option was quite simple to sign up to, no credit cards or anything. The intro videos ware also very useful. I wish there were more of them.

I have been evaluating for several hours. I don't think there's an ITSM version available to test though, unless I'm missing it?

You are right there is no ITSM for On Demand.
