Auto Notify for tickets not answered

Hello Again!

Is there a way to set up auto notifications so that if a ticket isn't answered within 24hrs OTRS will automatically send out reminders until its picked up? I know a ticket can be set to pending but that requires me to set it on each and every ticket so I would much rather tell the system to automatically send a reminder if a ticket receives no response in 24hrs. Management just wants a way to know everything is being responded to w/o having to login to OTRS and filter through tickets.

Note: If I can do this via SLA that would be fine so long as a default SLA can be set from an email generated ticket. I've tried this route but can't seem to get OTRS to detect an SLA from an email generated ticket.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

set it on the Queue settings
"Production": OTRS™ 8, OTRS™ 7, STORM powered by OTRS
"Testing": ((OTRS Community Edition)) and git Master
