Good afternoon,
I am an IT intern doing a little investigating for my boss (aka I am young and still dumb as rocks compared to most IT professionals). We implemented OTRS a little over six months ago, and it has worked (nearly) flawlessly for our company. The only issue we seem to have involves submitting tickets. Most of the time, after submitting (or closing) a ticket, there is a few second pause before the requested action actually takes place. Immediately after the pause, instead of the ticket going through and ending up back at the dashboard as usual, a "helper.com" webpage loads in the ticket window. Our OTRS implementation is installed on a company server I will call "helper"--so I am thinking obviously something is amiss involving the server that OTRS is installed on (or with a piece of software that refers to its name).
What is the most likely cause of this issue and what would be the best remedies?

The most likely cause of this issue is inability to send email on ticket submit.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Thank you very much and sorry for the delayed response. That was right on target and helped us narrow down the issue and resolve it (so far). Will report back if something comes up but we are convinced that fixed it !
