Graphical Reporting

Hi,

hope you can help me. I need to know how to install OTRS manager? Do you have any idea cause I'm new to this ticketing system. I need to have a graphical reporting as I can see OTRS manager can be able to generate this.

Hope you can give me an idea on how to use it.

No need to keep posting new topics on this forum regarding this issue. If you didn't get an answer, it's probably because it's not relevant here. Perhaps you should ask the developer/owner. Or download it and read the included license.

Thanks for the reply but do you know how to use otrs manager. It ask for the information in the configuration but it shows an error. I keep searching on how to use it but there is no luck. I can only download the software which is the one you provided me.

What have you done? What went wrong? Which error messages do you get?

I ran the installation but it ask me for this information. I don't what information I need to put in some information. Error:OTRS-Database connect error! Please check the configuration
I'll attached file so you can see what I'm talking.

If you installed OTRS, you would know this information. (Hint: It's in Config.pm) Hint #2: If your mysql installation is only listening on localhost and not the IP address of the server, and/or your otrs server firewall prevents outside access to port 3306 and you install this on a machine not the OTRS server you won't connect.

Hi,

I got the information in cofig.pm. but I still get the same error: Error:OTRS-Database connect error! Please check the configuration for ((OTRS)) user and password is it same in config.pm. And for the http address do I need use local host or the IP address of the OTRS server? My firewall is already turn off but there is no luck to connect.

This is not the forum for this application. Talk to the people who developed it. All the information you need should be intuitive or documented in the app. If you don't think so, ask the owners/developers.

It's a third party add on. Did it come with your distribution?

read the mysql manuals to understan how to allow external access to a database
