Active Directory Config Add-On

Is there any sort of add-on for AD integration?
(ie. so you can just use the web interface to enter a DC address and creds and the integration is taken care of? ala Spiceworks)

use the Config.pm and you can connect the AD via LDAP. The forums search will gve you a load of examples

Yeah I've read through the related section in the manual, and examples on here (and elsewhere - seems there are many cases of people not enjoying the standard requirement).

It's a convoluted process that I was hoping someone had written an add-on so it could be done simply and easily in the GUI.

No, it's not, unless you need more than what's provided.
You need to copy the information from the documentation to Config.pm and change the information to what's relevant to you.
People who have had issues *generally* have been either trying this on their own and skip steps or are in need of multiple backends and don't apply the index properly.

it is a 5 Minute config,which typically won't need to changed. So the file works perfectly
