Error during install..

Hello,

I'm using Linux CentOS 6.3.

Currently I'm at step 2 of Database Settings.
I entered in 'root' as the user.

I entered in host IP for host.

At the Result of database check, I get the following message/error..
Can't connect to database, read comment!
Can't connect to MySQL server on
'ipaddress' (13)

I need help here.

check if the mysql server can be reached from the OTRS server?

Yes, OTRS can not reach the MySQL server.

then fix it on the network or mysql config layer
