We're on OTRS 3.1.11 (Fedora). I was just given the "gift" of a new server for my test system. I verified the basic system (OS, mail, etc), then installed a fresh OTRS to verify I wasn't missing anything - everything seemed to be running great. I then replaced the application and database with copy from the Production system. Verified ticket creation, email notifications. All is fine EXCEPT X-Headers aren't being picked up.
We have a form that emails the system directly, using X-Headers to put values in Dynamic Fields. On production this has been working great. On the test system - the new ticket is created with subject, queue, etc - but no Dynamic Fields. I've checked the *Trusted setting on the postmaster email account - it is set to 'Yes' (expected, being a clone of production). I've changed the form mailer to send to my desktop and verified all the X-Headers are in the email (which they should be - this works on production) and changed the address back to the test server.
I'm positive there's something going on with the server, but my server folks are (naturally) pointing their fingers at OTRS and saying I have a setting out of whack. Other than the *Trusted setting, I can't find anything else referenced in the docs that could stop X-Headers from being picked up. But to appease the server folks - I agreed to check online.
Am I missing something? I'm receiving/sending email from OTRS on the test server - the only thing not happening is X-Header values aren't there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
X-Headers not being read?
