Can anyone point me to any HOWTOs about how to upgrade a Windows installation from 2.4.5 to 3.2. The docs I found where a one liner about backing up, installing new version and restoring.
http://doc.otrs.org/3.0/en/html/upgrade ... aller.html
Do I have to go through ever version like Linux or can I go directly?
Thanks
Tim

Re: Windows 2.4.5 Upgrade to 3.2
The Linux Upgrade is this:
2.4 -> 3.0.latest -> 3.1.latest -> 3.2.latest
3.0 UPGRADING
3.1 UPGRADING
Before 3.2 read this: http://blog.otrs.org/2013/02/20/about-o ... e-engines/
3.2 UPGRADING
The Windows Upgrade is ... well, roughly the same, but read this: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=18543 and apply it for each step.

Re: Windows 2.4.5 Upgrade to 3.2
I successfully upgrade windows OTRS all the way through 2.45 to 3.2 as described.
Only input I can offer for the viewtopic.php?f=60&t=18543 topic is that I had to rename the OTRS folders in safe mode. Everything else is as described.
I did the MYSQL innoDB upgrade instead of running DBUpdate-to-x.x-post.mysql.sql as there wasn't one in 3.2
Thanks very much
Tim
