HI,
I've just setup new OTRS using windows installer on my server win2003 , in installation process I was unable to connect to database with error saying
"Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) "
I've just check the service mysqld and stated "starting" not "started" and also make sure no blocking in the firewall so I turn it off.
The path for mysql daemon service refer to "C:\Program Files\OTRS\MySQL\bin\mysqld.exe" --defaults-file="C:\Program Files\OTRS\MySQL\my.ini" MySQL
Any other way to finish this installation?

not without getting MySQL to start.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Since the installer bundled with mysql , I hope there is some tricky to correct this setup.
