New ticket alert in browser?

Hi all,

Is there a way to get some kind of alert whenever a new ticket (of any kind) comes into the system? Not an email alert, but just something within the browser?

For example, some web pages will make the tab flash or display a count for notifications if there are any upon refreshing. Is this somethign that could be available within OTRS?

If not, how would one suggest features for the next version release?
