DB value is Pürnstein but on GUI it is shown as PÃ¼r

Hi,

We use external data source to show values in OTRS. but the value in DB are like `Pürnstein` but if we check the same value in OTRS GUI it is shown as 'PÃ¼rnsten'. i.e the alphabet 'ü' changes to 'Ã¼'.

Can someone please help me why this is so shown and to correct all the values that all in DB , same will be shown on GUI.

Please check the charset settings in the config!

I tried to find that setting : I find in `Core:Log` and `Edit Config Settings in Ticket -> Frontend::Agent::ToolBarModule`.
But both are of no use.

Can you please give me some more details on this setting.

In Kernel/Config.pm where you defined the external source...
