Allow Customert to add note or Close Ticket

At the moment, a customer can create a ticket.

they cannot add comments to a ticket they have created, or close that ticket if it no longer needs any action.

Please can someone tell me how we can change this.

Our OTRS version is 3.1.8

In the ticket zoom there is a section near the bottom where the customer can add a note...

may be that queue isn't a member of a group
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

if i go into admin and click on queues, i can see there are groups beside each queue.

any other ideas? :(

I meant ... a group that the customer is a member of (not users, apparently?)
