Default values on dynamic fields in articles?

Hi,

I need to have a few checkboxes which should be set upon creation of an article, but should not be visible or changeable when you create the article. The state of these checkboxes should be shown when viewing the note, and the state of the checkboxes will be updated through the database afterwards, they reflect whether or not the note has been invoiced or not.

Is there a way to do this? The manual describes how to do it on ticket creation, but is there a similar hook for creation of articles?

If you don't add the field visibility to a screen, it won't be there.
