Hello,

first of all, I am not familiar with otrs cmdb. I try to evaluate the possibilities of the cmdb of otrs. I am looking for a cmdb where I can create a structure of 7 config.-types (no problem with otrs) and 3-tier of Config.-item. Within otrs cmdb I am able to create my needed 7 config-types but I have no idea how to create a structure like hardware(as config-type)-computer (config-Item 1 tier)-technical displays (config-Item 2 tier)-emergency (config-Item 3 tier)-CI-record. Any idea??

I don't think you can do that natively, but you can always create a new class to your cmdb and link items to it.

If it's more static you might want to look into the package "ITSM-CIAttributeCollection", which allows you to add attributes to a CI that are automatically linked to other CIs.
