Not sure if this belongs here or in 'Help' ...
I have successfully setup the Book Ordering process as shown in the Admin Guide. However, I have discovered that it does not run in Internet Explorer 8. Is this a known issue? If 3.3 requires a later version of IE, I haven't found where that's documented - if it is please just disregard this whole message...
If I zoom the ticket, the SysLog fills with the errors:
No such ServiceID (29)!
Unknown column 'criticality' in 'field list', SQL: 'SELECT id, name, valid_id, comments, create_time, create_by, change_time, change_by , type_id, criticality FROM service WHERE id = ? LIMIT 1'
The only action showing is Recording the demand - if I click on it and Submit, the SysLog shows:
Scheduler Daemon status request! PID 2220
Scheduler Daemon Stop! PID 2220
Process could not be found in the process table!
Process could not be found in the process table!
Scheduler Daemon start! PID 2241
If I open the process, the starting block is a square instead of a circle (which seems to indicate a bad process...)
If I try to submit an update to a Transition, the browser shows error message:
Need ProcessData!
SysLog shows the same error

Re: 3.3 Process Management and Internet Explorer
Hi,
first of all you should use the latest IE or better Firefox or Chrome for Process Management.
Check Sysconfig Settings for ProcessManagement, perhaps you'll find something missing here?!?
It seems that you are using services (ServiceID 29) in processes, without configuring them?

Re: 3.3 Process Management and Internet Explorer
Thanks for the reply! Services were my first thought, but I haven't found anything amiss there (yet?) - plus I don't get the errors in IE 10 or Firefox or Chrome. Our problem here is we have many applications that still require (believe it or not) IE 8, which keeps me from just moving forward. Not to mention saying 'Firefox' and/or 'Chrome' around here is almost akin to swearing

Re: 3.3 Process Management and Internet Explorer - RESOLVDED
Management is pushing me to move forward so I dropped the database copied and migrated a fresh copy of our production database. Whatever I messed up the first time is OK this time - IE 8 is working except for building/modifying the process. I still get the Need ProcessData! error. But this is minor since I'm the one creating the processes to start - I can use whichever browser I need to.
Re: 3.3 Process Management and Internet Explorer - RESOLVED
IE 8 is not fully supported. There are issues with the admin part of the process mgmt and the dashboard stats
