DateFormat needs to be translated [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am new to OTRS and I am experiencing a annoying error. After a month of setting up and testing my configuration, I was almost ready to lauch the service in my company. The problem is, after adding a translation in the "fr.pm file", two errors appeared while using OTRS:
- it generates an error when I try to edit an agent profile (after that, I have to log in again to access anything)
- all the dates disapeared, and OTRS displays "DateFormat needs to be translated!'

I removed my modifications in the "fr.pm" file, but the problems are still there and I cannot find a way to have the system work properly again.

Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve these issues? Thanks!

Ok, I found out how to solve it.

In case somebody needs it, my "fr.pm" did not have the correct RW rights (root instead of otrs)..

Hi,

you should not change code files. For this you should use custom translation.
See the doc for translation file.
