Hi all!
I´m newbie in OTRS and I´ve started to play with ITSM Change Managment but I´ve had a problem regarding the state of the change.
I create a change and assign the chane to a change builder and a change manager, but when I can´t find the option to modify the status of the change. It always apper as requested.
Any clue, please??
Regards

Re: Change state
Hi,
you cannot arbitrarily set the status of a change, it depends on the possible evolutions of the state machine (Admin > State Machine)
http://otrs.github.io/doc/manual/itsm/s ... te_machine
You have to specifically define all the conditions that let the change go ahead from its start to its end.
After the conditions have been established, OTRS ITSM allows you to define any number of actions to be executed on the current Change.
Please, read carefully the OTRS ITSM Manual (http://otrs.github.io/doc/manual/itsm/s ... /ch08.html) before starting to implement your change management solution.
