Delete old tickets to reduce database

Post by makgab »

Hi!

If the database will be large (in the future), how can we delete old tickets to reduce the size of database.
Now the database is small. I would like to prepare for the future. :)
So, what will be the correct solution in case of large database?

There is a thread viewtopic.php?t=19103 that addresses this. It's not necessarily best practices, but basically: backup and generic agent delete old tickets. (Your data is your responsibility, etc..)
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
