how can I set the Ceckbox "infor Sender" in the Merge view as enabled by default?

You have to change some code (Kernel/Modules/AgentTicketMerge.pm). There is no way to configure it...

There is no reason to always send merge notifications. OTRS is smart enough to combine incoming messages silently on the proper ticket. Also, merging is considering housekeeping. There isn't any good reason to annoy the customer with email that does not require an action from the customer.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
