I have an exchange email address to use for OTRS to be set on POSTMaster.
is it ok to send mail from otrs side?
is it ok to receive email ticket and assign it to a queue? or it is not possible?
what is the best email config for the OTRS?

Depending on your Exchange configuration you can fetch email via POP or IMAP from your Exchange server.

Hi Barry,
As long as you can send via SMTP, it will work. Although note that generally Exchange may need to have a send connector or other configuration that allows your OTRS IP to send from multiple email addresses. That is beyond the scope of this forum.
