New ticket notification is in german ???

Hi All

i need some help, after a fight i have managed to upgrade from v4 to v5.0.2

everything seems to be running although fairly slow at the moment.

one thing that stands out is when a customer emails in to us i receive a new ticket notification but it is in german.

ive checked the user account and i have english uk as the language for this user so im not sure as to why it is picking up german.

can anyone tell me how i can fix this. the email the customer receives is the same one they used to get which is fine it just appears to be internal notifications

also does anyone have any tips on how to speed up v5 is there a tuning guide i could use to try and get the best out of it.. if possible i would like to delete all the old tickets from over a year ago to reduce space but i didnt think this was possible through the ticket system

hi all

found a workaround for the issue.. just in case anyone else has a similar issue

the users were setup as english (united kingdom) but the new notifications dont have a translation for that the closest is english (united states)
the work around for the time being is to change all the agents language to english (united states) and this solves the problem

the correct fix would be to add a new translation and call it english (united kingdom) this would then need to be done for each notification and would also solve the issue.
