Hi
I am using 3.1.7 and want to upgrade to 5..
Is it better to upgrade to 4 and then to 5.
Can i install 5 and then move my old database ( if this is possible)
i don't have enough time so a faster upgrade path is preferred.

You have to go the whole way with each version
3.1 -> latest 3.2 -> latest 3.3 -> latest 4 -> latest 5
That's the only way that works.
