Empty system log

Post by roghan »

Hi,
I'm new to OTRS, and I have just installed the system on a clean CentOS 7. I'm configuring it and mail notifications but I see the system logs are empty! I need to read it in order to correctly troubleshoot the issues.
I searched for system logs by using the web interface, "Admin" tab, "System administration" panel, and "System log"... but I cannot see anything! I attached a screenshot.
Why? Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Check the configuration of the System Log in SysConf. If it is set to error and you don’t have errors then the log is going to be empty. Maybe you want to switch to debug mode and have more control of your system activity.
