Unable to send emails with attachments

Post by Markajdriver »

Hello,

First time posting here so please go easy!

We're seeing an issue when responding to an OTRS ticket when sending an external email with an attachement.

Error below:

Error Message: Impossible to send message to: myemail@myemail.co.uk

Backend ERROR: OTRS-CGI-10 Perl: 5.16.3 OS: linux Time: Mon Sep 26 13:59:59 2016

Message: Impossible to send message to: myemail@myemail.co.uk.

RequestURI: /otrs/index.pl

Anyone able to shed some light as to how I can configure this to ensure when sending an external email reply from OTRS that we're able to send attachments?

Test attachment size: 15.5MB

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

attachements can be handled by OTRS without issues.

Your error message can result from some other things:
- you are not allowed to send
- the attachement is to big

You have to look into your logfiles of the mailserver(s)
