Hi All,
CustomerID field is not editable when a very first ticket is created for a new client who is yet to signup and we have added a customerID on the admin end. Where is the option to enable this field to at least choose from the customer list?
Note: It used to be an editable field when we were using OTRS 3.3, now recently we have upgraded to OTRS 5 and this doesn't work

You can set it in the SysConfig from ReadOnly to editable. Somewhere under Ticket->Email/PhoneNew-> [...]ReadOnly
Currently using: OTRS 6.0.14 -- MariaDB -- Ubuntu 16 LTS
