Hello all
In my OTRS system I keep tickets from the very begining. Currently I have an issue with lack of free disk space on the VM. As it is not so easy to extend the disk space of the VM over and over I'm looking for a way of keeping the disk usage on the certain level. I decided to delete tickets older than couple years.
What I noticed that after I deleted couple tousands of tickets using Generic Agent the used disk space was not smaller at all. Am I missing some more action to delete the tickets or maybe there is some better solution to keep the disk usage on some certain level?
Thank you in advance for all the tips.

Re: Saving disk space
The best option is always to get some more disk space since disk space is very cheap these days.
The issue may be related with your ticket or attachment storage configuration. If your OTRS is configured to store everything on the database, it's possible that simply deleting them won't release the space.
