Is it possible to change, delete or configure the Name field of the menu when we create a new item within CMDB?
The objective is that it can only be registered with already predefined names that can be chosen in a dropdown.

I don't think you can do that, but you could add a regexp (setting "ITSMConfigItem::CINameRegex") to force certain names.
Currently using: OTRS 6.0.14 -- MariaDB -- Ubuntu 16 LTS
