Confusion between time values (hours and days treated as a same unit) when exporting statistics

Post by Coatmor »

Hi all,

First and foremost I would like to apologize if my question has already been anwsered, but I couldn't find anything relevant on the forum nor on the Internet.

I am encountering a problem regarding the export of statistics implying a time value.

I made a stat with SLA on the X-axis and Solution Average on Y-axis. But when exporting the stat as a graph, hours and days appear together as a single unit on the Y axis.

When checking the export as a CSV or Excel table, I can notice that data is formatted as "X d X h" or "X h X m", where "X" is the number of days (d), hours (h) or minutes (m). I can see the same result with the default statistic "List of open tickets, sorted by time left until solution deadline expires" with the 2nd column, "age". Therefore it seems that this is the default behaviour.

If I compare those data to the graph I obtained before, I can remark that only the first number of each cell is taken into account to build the Y axis data, no matter which unit is used.

Consider the following data for instance and the way it is diplayed in the graph:

- 2 h 3 m gives 2 on the Y axis
- 5 d 6 h gives 5 on the Y axis

Please see an illustrated example:
Tps_réponse_SLA_TimeZone_Europe_Paris.png
2020-11-16 15_40_51-Tps_réponse_SLA_Created_2020-10-14_14 37_TimeZone_Europe_Paris.csv - LibreOffice.png
Moreover, the way data are exported in CSV or Excel tables are not very convenient too, let's say for instance to be used to build my own graphs in Excel or LibreOffice Calc. I'd rather have it displayed in a common unit, for instance minutes or seconds, that I can change into days hours and minutes using cell formatting.

Is there a way (or several ways) to change this behaviour so that data is exported using a common time unit to allow an appropriate comparison between the data? Or an option I missed when building my stats?

Hope I'm being clear enough in my explanations.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi again,

If the system could take into account and display the values that are at 0, it could partially do the trick, for instance : "0 d 15 h 6 m" or "1 d 0 h 0 m". Unfortunately I don't know how to do that either.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
