ITSM Change sending reminder emails despite being completed

We're using the following:

Not 100% sure which of the packages is in charge of change notifications, but we have a change that's sending the creator of it repeated notifications stating the change has not been approved, to review it and ensure it's approved before the change; however the change was approved and has now since been completed! I've tried changing him from the builder to just the generic admin account as well as recreating the Decision Work Order and setting that to approved again, but still the user is receiving notifications of the same. My next thought was to try and see if the change could be wholly deleted using the GenericAgent but I don't see the option to do this for changes. Any other ideas of what else I could try? I'd like to avoid simply turning off the notifications for the user or creating an outlook rule that looks for that subject if possible to see if the system itself can be more or less "fixed".
