"Session invalid" after a few seconds (behind AWS ALB)

Good morning all,
I am trying Znuny for the first time and have installed 7.1 on an Ubuntu 24 EC2 instance on AWS. The server is on a private subnet (i.e. not externally routable interface) and access will be provided to users through an AWS Load Balancer (it takes care of the SSL). After I am logged in for a short period of time (ranges from 10 seconds to approx 1 minute) I am redirected to the login screen with a notice saying "Session invalid. Please log in again."

I feel this is likely something to do with being behind a LB but am not certain. Are there any docs about how to set up Znuny on an instance behind a LB/Reverse Proxy?

Hi,

there should be a setting something like "check remote ip" or CheckRemoteIP

You may try to disable this setting
