can not send notification to agent about new ticket created

hi all,
i am not able to send the notification to agent for new ticket created.although my setting seems to be alrite and while checking log i find that notification have been sent to the agent email-id,but there is not notification in the agent mail id,
don't know where i stucked, pls help me out.

check if u have highlighted the queues you want to get notifications from at the preferences. to select them u highlight then click on update, every time you go back to the preferences the selected queues will be highlighted.
OTRS 2.4.7 on SUSE and on MySQL database
OTRS 3.2.10 on CentOS and MySQL database

Hi,

check also if a firewall may be blocking messages. Notifications do not have a envelope header by default. This p's off some security boxes.

Thanks guys,iam getting notification now,seems i have missed to select my queue in preferences.
