Hi,
I try to install OTRS v2.4.7 on Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition with DB2 v9.5 FP5.
- I tried with file "OTRS 2.4.7 tar.gz". Next I have downloaded Apache but it can't start.
- I tried too with the 2 Windows installer "OTRS 2.4.7 for win (with StrawberryPerl)" and "OTRS 2.4.7 for win (with OTRSperl mod_perl - BETA RELEASE)". I have downloaded mod Perl for DB2 and I have modified config file but I have this message : http://forums.otrs.org/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2831.
How to install OTRS with this specific configuration?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Milou,
First of all, I guess you must realize that using DB2 is just much less common than using OTRS on MySQL or even Oracle. That said, OTRS officially supports it so it should be working.
I can't tell from the thread you point to on the German forum which actually is the error message you are running into. You should install the DB2 DBI driver in Perl, which should be perfectly possible to do with StrawberryPerl. OTRS can't distribute the DB2 driver because it's proprietary and not available under an open source license. After that, you should be able to configure your database in Config.pm.
Please share the exact issue you currently have, including the steps you already took to resolve it.
