Hi,
I'm just new to this and trying to work out OTRS.
When I send a reply to a ticket, the 'from' address is 'otrs@localhost' which was set by default. This is wrong and I need to change it - in fact OTRS gives me an error - no mail exchanger. I created a new email address in admin and set the original one to 'invalid'. However, I still get otrs@localhost as the from. There seems to be no way to switch this. I see that the email address is associated with a queue, but I'm not sure I understand what this means and/or what function it has.
Any help appreciated.

Replies and Notifications are two different parameters!
You´ll need to edit your queue and select the new added mail address. That´s all.
When entering the new address you give it the queue name where incoming mails with this mail address will go to.
