I'm looking into using OTRS for a specific site. At this site there could be any number of customers in which a ticket would need to be created for. Is there a way to use OTRS without a customer database? I.E. When creating a new ticket the field for customer is simply a title and does does refer to a database item. Or is there a way to directly input a new customer into the database directly from the create new ticket screen and have the customer names flushed from the database monthly?
We deal with a lot of customers who will not be accessing the system and we are looking to track the type and quantity of tickets rather than any sort of customer metric.
