we are using Notification (event) in order to inform our QA department in case there is a new ticket (with a special ticket type). So far the receipts of this email were added as agents, but now I have also added one person via email-address as he should not have agent access.
Notifications are still working fine

Now I am wondering if this behavior is right (OTRS2.4) or if this is a 'bug'?
