What is "invalid-temporarily"

Post by yuri0001 »

Anywhere in the manuals recommended not to remove anything to preserve the integrity of data, and use the attribute "valid" with values:
"valid" , "invalid" or "invalid-temporarily" .
The first two are understandable, but the last one? Maybe someone knows the deep meaning of this concept?

I just use it to temporarily do testing and remind myself that I need to bring it back to 'valid' later on, or make it invalid. This a good question, though.

O.R. perhaps this is the main sense, at least, such an approach is interesting. Thanks!
