Core::Session -> SessionModule -> DB/FS

I had a quick question about moving sessions from the DB to FS. It indicates that making the move to FS has faster performance. I am currently using the default DB setting, is it worth changing to sessions being stored on the file system? I tried searching on more information regarding these settings, and have only found that changing this to FS was suggested for an individual who was having issues with more than one user logging into OTRS at once. I am guessing if it helped system performance that much it would be selected as the default?
