Auto response issues

Auto response issues

So I have created my queues and tested them and everything is working as expected. Auto responses are going out when a new email ticket is raised. I wanted to create my own auto responses for each queue so I created an auto response, linked it to the queue and tested it. The logs say that the auto response has been sent(email x'd out):

Mar  8 21:23:59 localhost OTRS-CGI-20[8977]: [Info][Kernel::System::Ticket::Article::SendAutoResponse] Sent auto response (SendAutoReply) for Ticket [20023] (TicketID=23, ArticleID=) to 'Jim Tambling <Jim.Tambling@xxxxxxxxx.xxx>'.
When I change the auto response back to the default reply it works. Can anybody offer any ideas?

I missed the part that indicates what's broken.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Sorry, was late last night. No email is ever received when I use anything but the default auto response.
