hi
I'd like to extend the type of item managed by the ITSM Config module (or CMDB), adding some new definition.
I didn't find any explicit function to do that, the only function available is about modification of actual definition.
Any suggestion to avoid operating on the Db ?
best regards
stefano

Hi,
add your class at: Admin -> [General Catalog] -> ITSM::ConfigItem::Class
and then configure your new class at: Admin -> [Config Item]

Re: ITSM Config how to craete new item definition
Thanks Wolfang for help.
I have a couple of additional question:
- Data input structure. Can I take, and change, the structure from already configured class?
- I have to configure/set/modify any parameter or module, because the new class form is working?
best regards
stefano
