I know this must have been requested elsewhere, but I cannot find it specific to my setup. My installation details are in my signature. What performance enhancements are recommended for this setup? OTRS runs okay, but not as fast as I am sure could be achieved.

yes, it' stated in the admin manual, chapter performance http://doc.otrs.org/3.0/en/html/performance-tuning.html
and you can test the current setup using the [ Support Assessment ] module in Sysconfig
