[SOLVED] Email address not being accepted
While entering a new contact OTRS attempts to create the contact then fails with the message "An error has occurred". It then highlights the email field in red as if that were the problem however it's a valid email address. This is happening for all contacts I try to add to the system no matter where I try to add that contact. If anyone would like any specific logs please let me know (new to the system and not sure what to grab here).

disable mx record checking or fix your server's dns
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

try searching the sysconfig for 'CheckMXRecord' and disable this setting
