Hello,
I am running OTRS v3.1.11 and ITSL 3.1.6.
Now what i would like to do is dat a user creates a new ticket a drop-down must appear for choosing the catagory from ITSM general catalog (i.e.: Hardware, Software,....)
I think it has something to do with dynamic fields but i don't find it.
Can someone please help ?

the general catalog is not available for dynamaic field contents

Is their any way to show such a drop-down ?
I would like for users to point out where the problem is, General computer, A software problem,...
So i thought i define everything in the catalog and define a drop-down that is mandatory
Or do i need to manually define all the items ?

you can use the dynamic field for this
