Auto Customer ID mapping for Inbound Emails

Hi There,

Could someone please advise on the best way to achieve the following requirement? We have customers, with known email domains they 'typically - 99%' of the time send from. I'd like to match any inbound email, to possibly a custom field..or match the domain to the Customer URL field for all inbound emails to the system.

Current function seems to support auto mapping to User / Customer Company..only if a valid user already exists in the system.

For example: user1@domain.com sends inbound email...does not have a valid user account in system...system filters 'domain.com' to be a known domain for 'Domains Inc.'..and sets it to that company automatically.
