Send auto reply to customer in non-woring hours

Post by danieldai »

I am seeking a solution in OTRS that auto reply can be sent to customers, who send requests to a mailbox that is fetched by OTRS, saying "our working hour is 8am-5pm, balabala...". Working hours can configured in calendar. Is it true that I can make it if I link a calendar with a queue?

Some one can give me some suggestions? Thanks.

If your working hours are static and not changing. Just set a basic auto-reply and map it to a queue. No need to set working hours in a calendar.

I assume you meant auto-response in OTRS. But I still need to swich it on when I start working and off when I finish working every weekday, which is what we are doing on Outlook auto reply.

Set that up on your mail account.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
