SolutionDiffInMin field

Hello guys, when I generate a report I get the following fields:

created : 04/10/2011 08:54
closed : 17/10/2011 15:42
solution : 17/10/2011 15:42
solution in minutes : 19128
solution diff minutes: 2472

I have two questions from this:

1.- What's the difference between closed and solution time?

2.- Where does solution diff minutes come from? I know solution in minutes comes from substracting closed - created but how about the other one?
